Who is the Spotlight for?
Artists with a cohesive body of work who want a focused gallery presentation, stronger artist materials, and a personal Laguna Beach experience. Gregory reviews the portfolio and fit before extending an invitation.
Is the exhibition solo or shared?
The exhibition format, wall space, artwork selection, and event arrangements are confirmed in your proposal. A dedicated artist event does not automatically mean exclusive use of the entire gallery.
What is separate from the $4,500 fee?
Travel, artwork shipping, framing, special installation materials, and artwork insurance are separate unless expressly included in your agreement. Confirm all logistics before sending artwork.
Does participation guarantee sales or representation?
No. The Spotlight provides the agreed experience, exhibition, and presentation support. Artwork sales, attendance, ongoing representation, and press coverage are not guaranteed.
How are sales and commission handled?
Artwork prices, sales arrangements, gallery commission, settlement, and returns are agreed in writing before exhibition.
What about deposits and cancellations?
The written proposal includes payment timing, cancellation and rescheduling terms, and the confirmed hotel arrangements. Review and accept those details before paying.
Is this the Artist Residency?
The Spotlight is the focused three-day experience. The extended Artist Residency is a separate offering, coming soon.
